How does it work?
To participate in our Pitch Your Idea contests, submit your application. If selected, you will be notified by email of the scheduled competition date.
Contestants will be judged by a panel of Latina entrepreneurs based on the following criteria: quality of presentation, creativity and uniqueness of the product, feasibility of the product, and the contestant’s passion for the product/industry/service. The pitch should be no longer than 5 minutes and the judges will have 5 minutes to ask questions and provide feedback. There will be a 1 minute transition between each company.
Entrepreneurs will be allowed to demonstrate their product, but will not be allowed to give anything to the judges.
The following prizes will be awarded
1st Place
$ 1.000
- A mentoring dinner with the jurors
- Certificate of participation
- 2nd place – $ 500
- 3rd place – $250
Important Dates
August 31: Opening of the application
October 3 : deadline for submission of applications
October 10: selection of the finalists who will participate in the finals
November 7: Final competition
